The first ever NBA Awards 2017 took place Monday night at Basketball City at Pier 36 in New York City.

Hosted by Musician Drake the league’s maiden awards show featured performences from 2 Chainz and Nicki Minaj.

Oklahoma City Thunder point guard Russell Westbrook was named the Most Valuable Player, overcoming James Harden, Kawhi Leonard and LeBron James.
